EA Sports has announced the full lineup of NHL legends that are returning in this year’s game. Wayne Gretzky, Chris Chelios and Ray Bourque we already knew about, but now we also know that Hall of Famers Steve Yzerman, Patrick Roy, Jeremy Roenick, Mario Lemieux, Gordie Howe and Borje Salming are joining the fun.

Was EA Sports really desperate for the Maple Leaf fan demographic that they’d choose Salming over guys like Bobby Orr, Larry Robinson, Paul Coffey, Scott Stevens, Denis Potvin, etc?
