Peyton Hillis Wins Madden Cover

For the first time in decades, someone from a Cleveland based sports team has come in first place! EA announced today that Peyton Hillis, star running back for the thoroughly mediocre Cleveland Browns would be the one to grace the cover of their annual Madden series.  This is not entirely surprising, since his competition in the final round was Michael Vick, but it still is not a good situation for EA. In the past, Madden cover athletes have been legitimate superstars with Superbowl rings, not  a merely good player on a 5-11 team with a small fan base.

EA may want to think twice before they let NFL fans have any say in their flagship title.
