From January 3 to February 6, Pokémon fans in Canada and the US can get a jump start on the upcoming Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version by visiting their local GameStop store and acquiring three special new Pokémon. Shiny Raikou, Shiny Entei and Shiny Suicine, feature new powers than their regular counterparts can’t learn, can be acquired in a copy of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver Version, then transfered into Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version when they are released on March 6, 2011.

Each of these special Pokémon will be be available for one week only. Pick up on Shiny Raikou from January 3-9, grab Shiny Entei from January 17-23 and don’t miss out on Shiny Suicune from January 31 – February 6. All you need to do to collect these rare new Pokémon is visit your local GameStop store with your Nintendo DS and a copy of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver Version, with the Pokédex acquired and no more than two Wonder Cards.
