Juno announces new game, new partnership

Juno’s Piano, the latest application from The Juno Company, is now available on iTunes. This follow-up to Juno’s Musical ABC’s introduces children to playing the piano with Free Play, Learn a Song and Play with a Parent modes. The app is available on the App Store for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad for an introductory price of $.99.

I’ve got Juno’s Musical ABC’s on my iPad, and its definitely a nice, well produced application that naturally mixes music and the alphabet. Though it features narration by Brooke Shields, that doesn’t seem to have swayed my daughter, who keeps opting for more energetic and colorful options.

In other Juno news, the company has also announced a partnership wih PadWorx Digital Media for the creation of new music education apps,g ames and eBooks based on Juno, all of which will be released in 2011.

“PadWorx’s technical expertise and design aesthetic is rocket fuel for our creative content as we roll out our line of children’s apps,” said Barrett Cohn, CEO of The Juno Company.  “We are raising the bar in 2011 in terms of fun, engagement and learning for children with our eBooks, apps and games; we’re looking to make a significant impact in the children’s new media world!”
