If you like your DS RPG’s with an overwhelming sense of Japaneseness and some time travelling to boot, then Atlus’ upcoming Radiant Historia for the Nintendo DS could be the game you’ve been waiting for. Drawing influence from the great 16 bit RPGs of yore, Radiant Historia features a position based battle system, steampunk stylings, hand drawn art and as mentioned, plenty of time travel, along side all the classic elements of Japanese roll playing games.

Even better, Atlus is including a CD of piano arrangements from Yoko Shimomura’s musical score in every launch copy of the game. To get the bonus CD, get Radiant Historia when it is released for the Nintendo DS on February 22, 2011.
