Naturally, we here at GamerPops are big fans of titles aimed at the youngest of gamers, and My First Game for the iPad certainly fits that bill. But here’s my concern: if I’ve just spent $500 or more on a spiffy new iPad, the last thing I want to do with it is let my kids play with it. I love my little ones, but there’s a graveyard of broken toys at our house (and probably yours as well), that gives me every reason to know that when I get an iPad it’s going nowhere near my children.
Let’s say you are daring enough to let little hands on your iPad, then My First Game, designed by Otaboo and published by BulkyPix, is aimed at those youngsters. Providing a fun and educational experience for gamers ages 3-6, the game features 12 different activities focusing on skills such as shapes, writing, memory, and music. Difficulty can also be adjusted to tailor the experience to each specific child’s abilities.
My First Game for the iPad will be available in the App Store on November 9, 2010.
