Attack of the ZhuZhu Pets
All I know about ZhuZhu pets is that they were the must-have and hard to find toy of Christmas 2009, and fortunately my daughter is too young to yet be into the hottest toys. But apparently those little robotic hamsters have some legs to them, because Activision and Gamemill Publishing are bringing out two new titles, one for the DS and one for the Wii and DS.
First up is Kung Zhu for the DS, in which you train your hamsters to be ultimate fighting machines before taking them into battle. Play as the Ninja Warriors hamsters Yama, Azer, Drayko, and Thorn or the Special Forces hamsters Stonewall, Sergeant Serge, Rock’O, and Rivet, plus a few surprises as well, and outfit your hamsters with battle gear to fight through 35 levels.
Second is ZhuZhu Pets: Featuring the Wild Bunch, which will be released for the Wii and the DS. The game will feature side scrolling adventures with the original ZhuZhu hamsters and the new Wild Bunch characters. The Wii version will feature pick up and play multiplayer as well.
The initial release of each title will be a special collectors edition, featuring exclusive new ZhuZhu Pets. Kung Zhu will include Tull, a hamster with a never before seen colour scheme, while ZhuZhu Pets: Featuring the Wild Bunch will include Nutters the chipmunk.
Both of these ZhuZhu Pets titles will be available this fall.
