This February, horse lovers everywhere can saddle up their favorite ride, as Square Enix publishes the E-rated Pony Friends 2 for the Wii and the DS.

Amongst the features in this virtual equine game are 12 breeds of horse with their own personalities, 25 diverse trails to travel as you befriend wild ponies and photograph wildlife, a variety of accessories and customization features to make your horse truly your own, and a variety of races and trick competitions that you can compete in solo or with friends.

Players of the DS edition of Pony Friends 2 will also be able to talk to their horse through the DS’s microphone, and have it respond  to their voice.

Watching the trailer for the Wii version of Pony Friends 2, my 2.5 year old daughter told me all about how she wanted the white pony, and how it was her favorite, and that she was sad when it went away. So I have a feeling that she’ll be playing Pony Friends 2 at some point in the near future. It’s definitely cheaper than a real pony.
