New Naruto for the Wii

I’ll be honest here: my knowledge of Naruto is pretty much nil. I know it’s Japanese, it’s colourful, there’s plenty of high energy fighting, and cosplayers wear the headbands. I also know they’ve made quite a few Naruto games, and they seem to be rather popular.

The latest title from Tomy Corporation, Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 features classic 3D fighting, more than 35 playable characters with new jutsu and custom throws, a story mode that encompasses the first arc of the Naruto Shippuden series and a versus mode. For the first time, Naruto on the Wii goes online, with head-to-head or two-man squad battles. While on-line play is a given for the other game systems, it’s always nice to see a Wii franchise finally make the leap.

Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is out for your Wii on will be November 17 for $39.99 US.
