Welcome to GamerPops, the website that provides a unique point of view of the video gaming world. Sure, you’ve got the heavyweights like Kotaku and Joystiq, websites for cheap gamers, crispy gamers, girl gamers. Heck, there’s even a website for gay gamers (not that there’s anything wrong with that). But there’s one apparently painfully underserved segment screaming for their own point of view blog. Gaming dads, or pops, as it were.

I’m Papajuice – Proud father of two boys, with #3 on the way. I got a Wii a couple years back, which reclaimed this so-called “Lapsed Gamer.” After playing through it, I got the thirst for more, and started the process of beating down the wife into letting me get a 2nd console. After months of hinting, begging, crying, etc., she finally gave up, and I was allowed to get a PS3, used, from some 15-year-old kid in Waterdown who was selling it to get a bike. Yes, I know I suck.
